Hailey Baldwin seemed to shade Selena Gomez on social media and she got slammed by the singer’s supporters for it. However, it turns out that Selena is on her side and asking people not to ‘tear women down!’
That’s right! The songstress just defended none other than her ex, Justin Bieber’s new wife!
While some may expect to be some negativity between the two ladies, in reality, Selena is not about to stand for people tearing others down, especially not women.
So after the model was accused of dissing Selena, she took to social media to share an inspirational message that goes: ‘I do not stand for women tearing women down. I will never, ever be by that. So, please, be kind to everyone. It doesn’t matter what the situation is — if you are my fans, do not be rude to anybody, please. Do not go off and say things that you just feel in the moment. Please, from me.’
This all started with Selena dropping her new song, Lose You to Love Me, the lyrics of which made it clear immediately that it was about her past romance with Justin.
‘In two months you replaced us, like it was easy,’ she even sings, seemingly about Justin and Hailey getting together soon after their split.
Then, Hailey shared a pic on her IG Stories after the song was already out that showed she was listening to Summer Walker’s I’ll Kill You.

Many jumped to conclusions that it was a response to Selena’s new track but that same day, the model set things straight: ‘Please stop with this nonsense. There is no ‘response.’ This is complete BS.’
