P&O Cruises: You can now join chef Marco Pierre White in 2020 on brand new cruise ship

P&O Cruises has revealed a new cruise offering for 2020 today which is perfect for the food lovers out there. The cruise line announced the travel dates for its Food Heroes experiences next year. Guests can join Marco Pierre White, master pâtissier Eric Lanlard and award-winning wine expert Olly Smith. These star-studded meetings are available on selected 2020 sailings including P&O Cruises Iona, launching May 2020.

They can also sample Eric’s hand-crafted pastries in Vistas Café Bar and take part in Olly’s food and drink experiences including exclusive shore excursions.

Now available on Iona, guests can also attend Eric’s hosted Afternoon Tea in The Epicurean featuring treats such as bee pollen scones and pistachio petit choux.

On Britannia and Azura, Olly will be hosting a one-to-one wine surgery at The Glass House, offering guests the chance to have all their wine questions answered.

On Britannia, guests can attend Marco’s hosted masterclasses in the Cookery Club and learn to cook several of his popular dishes, as well as attend hosted dinners.

Earlier this month, P&O revealed its cruise ship Britannia will be ruling the waves once more after a million-pound refurbishment.

Britannia will emerge from the Damen shipyard in Brest this October and head to Southampton ahead of a Bruges cruise. The ship – first named five years ago – has benefited from a refit that includes refreshed interiors and new details befitting a five-star hotel at sea.

P&O Cruises said: “The refit will maximise guests’ favourite areas and bring Britannia’s design to the fore.”
