Michelle Visage: 'Why you walking away?' Strictly's Giovanni queries star in rehearsals

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 duo Michelle Visage, 51, and Giovanni Pernice, 29, are set to perform a Foxtrot as part of the Halloween special this weekend.

In an Instagram video today, Giovanni filmed the RuPaul’s Drag Race judge walking towards the camera as she said to him: “Tell the people how frustrated you are with me.”

“I’m not frustrated darling, I think you are an amazing dancer,” he replied prompting Michelle to laugh.

“You couldn’t even finish the sentence!” she exclaimed as she walked away from he camera laughing.

Giovanni then jokingly said aloud: “I am talking to you, why are you walking away?”

“Because, I’m preparing for a dance,” the mother-of-two replied as she demonstrated a move in the mirror.

The pro dancer went on to claim she had said she didn’t want to dance before capturing their flippant exchange on camera.

Appearing shocked with his response, she turned to the camera and said: “What? I never said that! You’re lying.”

Michelle then continued to practise the dance alone, prompting Giovanni to compliment his dance partner.

“Look at the frame… incredible, well done,” he told her.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star and Giovanni have so far been impressing the judges and public with their impressive performances.

Last week, the dancing duo performed a Rumba to Sam Smith’s hit Too Good At Goodbyes.

The pair were awarded 29 out of 40 points from judges Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood.

Earlier this month, Michelle Visage opened up about feeling “uncomfortable” with some of the outfits on the show.

The talent show judge said she has no plans to flash the flesh on the dance floor in outfits which highlight her midriff, because of scars left from two caesarean sections.

Michelle, who shares daughters Lillie, 19, and Lola, 17, with husband David Case, said her mid-section “will never be the same”.

She told The Mirror: “I’ve had two C-sections so my stomach is never going to look like it did when I was 21 and I’m not really comfortable with that.

“I’ve even got my arms out which I don’t love but at this point I don’t care. This is for me. I don’t care but I’m not comfortable with my stomach.”

“No one dictates what I do or don’t do so if I want to show some flesh, I will,” she added.

Michelle went on to address her weight loss following the intense rehearsals on the show.

“Weight just falls off without even trying because, imagine doing cardio for eight hours a day?” she added.

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.35pm on BBC One.
