Jeremy Clarkson: ‘B******s' Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host fumes on Twitter

Jeremy Clarkson, 59, certainly isn’t happy with VAR and took to Twitter to complain about the feature after the Liverpool and Manchester United game at the weekend.

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire presenter called the match official “b******s” and asked “what’s the point” in it.

Jeremy fumed to his 7.2 million Twitter followers: “Forgive my ignorance but what’s the point of VAR?”

He followed his post up: “I am NOT a Liverpool person but this VAR stuff is b******s.”

One of the former Top Gear host’s followers agreed and wrote: “Seemed to be a good idea at the time but poorly executed.”

However, opinion was split in the comments as one said: “This is actually one of the few games in which VAR has been used correctly.”

“Clearly made the right decision,” wrote another.

During Saturday’s game, Marcus Rashford’s goal for Manchester United against Liverpool was check by VAR but wasn’t disallowed, despite a challenge on Divock Origi in the build-up.

VAR then ruled out a goal for Liverpool before half-time, with Sadio Mane adjudged to have handled the ball.

Meanwhile, Jeremy displayed his weight loss last week, after revealing her had lost two stone back in August.

The Grand Tour presenter credited shedding the pounds due to eating salads instead of steaks.

But, after showcasing his slimmer frame with his partner, Lisa Morgan, the star said he had put most of the weight back on.

Jeremy took to Twitter to clarify his new look, and said: “It is true that I lost two stone. But I’ve now put one of them back on again.”

He added: “These are the realities of vanity.”

In a follow-up post, he said: “And so my American friends understand, two stone is 28 pounds.”

The presenter hen said: “And in Roman Catholic, 2 stone is 12.7 kg.”

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host posed for photos with Lisa, 46, in London last Thursday, at the launch of Fatima Bhutto’s book New Kings of the World, which took place at Knightsbridge bar Nolita Social.

Earlier this year, Jeremy appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show, where he told the host he had shed two stone following a gap year in South East Asia.

He said: “I went on a gap year to Indochina. They just have a better diet out there.”

The driving enthusiast added: “Plus I had a bicycle rather than a car.”

He continued: “Cycling is not a good thing to do, I’m all broken as a result of it but I did lose a lot of weight.”
