The daughter of the business-mogul and future-president, Donald Trump, converted to Judaism so she could marry her love. They married in a Jewish ceremony, and now have three children.
Jared Kushner is the heir to a huge property fortune, just like Ivanka, and has made a lot of money himself.
So, what kind engagement ring did this wealthy man buy for his future wife?
Ivanka Trump’s ring was a large, square, cushion cut diamond.
The sparkling piece looks perfect for an heiress, but an expert has told Express.co.uk it is actually rather modest considering the couple’s joint wealth.
Alexandra Mitchell gemmologist Prestige Pawnbrokers from Channel 4’s Posh Pawn said: “Ivanka’s engagement ring, considering who she is and who Jared is, is not as big and ostentatious as one would expect.”
The couple, who are now both employed a senior advisors to the president and live in Washing D.C., democratically collaborated on the ring.
“It has been reported that the ring was designed by Ivanka, but Jared chose the 5.22ct cushion cut diamond,” Alexandra explained.
“Ivanka’s design is a simple and understated diamond set band, purposefully done to show-off the star of the show.
“Although we don’t know the details of the stone itself, it’s clear that the stone would likely be a flawless D colour diamond. If so, a stone as large and as perfect as this could fetch up to £400,000 retail.”
However, fans of the heiress may have noticed that she appears to never wear her engagement ring.
In fact, she has barely worn the huge rock since her wedding day to Jared.
Ivanka has, in fact, been candid about why this is.
She told presenters on US panel show The View, on which she appeared shortly after her wedding: “I was engaged for three months and then I’ve been married around eight days, so it’s sitting on my bedside table. I forget about the hardware.”
This is hardly unusual. Many married women and men choose to forego wearing engagement and wedding rings.

Real name
Ivanka is not, in fact, her real name. She actually shares her mother’s name Ivana.
Explaining why she is known as Ivanka in a 2010 tweet, she said: “In Czech, Ivanka is the baby name for Ivana, like Bobby is to Robert.”
TV appearances
Ivanka was well known to the American public before her father became President thanks to appearances on TV.
She made short cameos on Project Runway and Gossip Girl, as well as becoming a primary boardroom member on The Apprentice with Donald.
Wedding
Ivanka married Jared Kushner on 25 October 2009 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, after a three-month engagement.

Religion
Ivanka was raised as a Presbyterian Christian but converted to Judaism to allow her to marry Jared Kushner.

Career
Ivanka ran a fashion line for 11 years, only recently closing it down. She also had a fine jewellery store that closed in March 2017.
