Google is currently selling its smallest smart speaker, the Google Home Mini, for just £29. That’s £20 cheaper than you’ve previously been able to buy the speaker.
The diminutive smart speaker may have been succeeded by the Google Nest Mini, but it’s still an incredibly capable connected home device.

As the name implies, the Google Home Mini is the smallest member of the Google Home family. The device delivers capable sound and, of course, has the American firm’s signature Assistant built-in.
That means you can bark commands and questions at the obedient device as long as you’re nearby.
The Google Home Mini can do even more though. It can even entertain family or friends with a host of different games, too.
If you’re worried about buying a last-generation product, you should know the differences between the Google Home Mini and the newer Nest Mini are minimal. Google’s newer speaker comes with improved audio, a built-in wall mount… and that’s about it.
And really, who can argue with a price tag of £29?
