Catherine Tyldesley: ‘Have I pushed you to the limit?’ Strictly star's partner seeks help

Catherine Tyldesley, 36, posted a video to her Instagram story showing her Strictly Come Dancing pro dance partner, Johannes Radebe, 32, getting physiotherapy before a rehearsal.

She posted the video to her 563,000 followers that showed the pro dancer holding his head in his hands as the physio wiggled and massaged his toe.

“Babe! Whats going on here?” She giggled as she walked over to the bed where Johannes was lying.

“Are you alright? Look at my Jojo, he’s done,” she said pitifully.

“[The physio] is sorting out the toe situation,” Johannes explained as he winced in agony.

“Have I pushed you to the limit?” Catherine laughed to which he replied: “Yep you have.”

The couple are currently rehearsing for week six of the competition which is set to be a spooky spectacular for the Halloween instalment of the show.

Catherine and Johannes will be dancing the Cha Cha Cha to ‘Scared Of The Dark’ by noughties pop band Steps.

Last week they danced the Tango to ‘Little Bird’ by Annie Lennox and scored a 28 leaving them in the middle of the leaderboard, a couple of points away from being in the 30 club.

The judges gave mixed feedback but Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas had some concerns about footwork.

“I didn’t feel in that dance you were dancing as one unit,” Craig said: “You had sloppy footwork.”

Shirley agreed: “I, a little bit like Craig, had a small issue with the footwork. You started off with split feet 12 inches apart when they’re meant to be together and off-set.”

But the head judge signed off with a cheeky good luck message: “I think you’re in it for the long haul.”

And, she was right as the couple Tango’d their way into the next round.

The South African dancer made headlines last week, shocking viewers on Sunday’s results show opening dance as he strutted his stuff in the spotlight wearing four inch heels.

The 32-year-old slipped on a pair of heeled boots and leather trousers as he strutted down a red carpet for the showbiz-inspired number and fans went wild for it on social media: “Johannes was just fab-u-lous on #strictly! An amazing dancer!”, one user wrote.

Another added: “Can we talk about Johannes slaying on the dance floor tonight in high heels?

“Very camp and extremely fun. Every week I love him more and more.”

A third shared: “Johannes just absolutely killed it.”

Viewers have their fingers crossed that the pro dancer will be back on his feet for Saturday night, as the couple compete to advance to the next round.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7:30pm on BBC One.
