Fortunately, it is now much easier to manage storage on WhatsApp.
Start by launch WhatsApp, select the three dots in the top-right corner.
The select Settings > Data and Storage Usage > Storage Usage.
Tap on each contact listed here to see how much storage each conversation with that person is using, as well as a breakdown of exactly what is consuming that space.
