Rafael Nadal and Xisca Perello snapped for first time after tying the knot in Mallorca

Rafael Nadal and his new bride Xisca Perello have released the first official photos from their stunning wedding.

The setting for the nuptials was the historic fortress La Fortaleza in Mallorca with a reported 350 guests attending.

Nadal had asked Perello for her hand in marriage back in May 2018.

And the Spanish couple looked every bit in love as the first official photos were released from the special day.

Perello stunned in a a haute couture wedding dress by Spanish fashion designer Rosa Clara, while Nadal looked suave in a grey suit coupled with black shoes.

There were some star names in attendance as well with former king of Spain Juan Carlos I said to be among those invited.

Nadal’s built some close friends on the ATP Tour, including players and coaches with Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco both invited along with long-term trainers Francis Roig and Carlos Moya.

But there was no Roger Federer in attendance as the 20-time Grand Slam champion wasn’t invited.

“I do not know anything about it,” Federer said.

“And I have a plan for the weekend before the Basel tournament.”

Nadal shared a snap of the beautiful setting surrounding the fortress on Instagram, captioning the photo with a wink emoji.

And the couple have since been inundated with messages of congratulations on social media.

Boris Becker tweeted: “Wishing @RafaelNadal and Xisca the most wonderful day and the rest of their lives together!”

The Laver Cup account also tweeted: “Congratulations @RafaelNadal and Xisca!”
