Terrifying great white shark savages diving cage in a horrifying bid to attack young woman

The huge beast approached the steel cage which was being slowly lowered into the sea by a boat. The great white approached the top of the steel cage and latched onto the white diving cage with its massive jaw.

The 17-foot shark then began to thrash at the cage which caused it to shake and become unsteady.

Although the shark seems to clamp onto the cage, it gradually lets go and then scrapes the side of the cage before swimming away.

Cage diver Nancy Lasuzzo captured the moment off the Guadalupe Island in Mexico at the beginning of the month.

The company, Islander Charters, who took Ms Lasuzzo out to sea in the cage, posted the video and it has since been seen over 33,000 times.

“Much power to those women inside the cages.”

Another said: “There would be so much poop in my wetsuit.”

Another user jokingly said: “The shark was just trying to help.”

It comes as a teenage surfer miraculously escaped an eight foot shark attack while he was out surfing with friends.

Riley Brown was surfing off Bribe Island in Queensland when he was suddenly knocked off his surfboard.

The 17-year-old managed to paddle back to the shore before finding a huge chunk taken from the bottom of his board.

The bite, measuring 40cm, was inches away from potentially dismembering Mr Brown’s leg or arm, an event that would have likely ended in his death.

The attack happened on Thursday while the carpenter was enjoying the afternoon sun.

On being knocked off his board, Mr Brown yelled to his friend who was around 20 metres that he had “just got hit by something”.

Mr Brown then ran up the beach warning other surfers of the massive shark lurking in the water.

According to the Daily Mail the shark was estimated to be eight foot long.
