The pair recently wowed the judges with their Couples’ Choice (Contemporary) routine, which the YouTuber dedicating it to her nan, Ivy. Their connection on the dance floor has prompted some viewers to speculate over whether there is a romantic connection between them, despite the professional dancer dating Abbie Quinnen. He predicted: “I think they could be a couple to look out for.”
Elsewhere, Saffron made a surprising revelation about AJ “dropping” her while they practice complex lifts during rehearsals.
The duo addressed the issue in a question and answer session with viewers, as one fan quizzed the pair: “Have you ever dropped each other when doing a lift in training?”
AJ was quick to deny any mishaps, replying: “I have never ever ever dropped Saffron in training because I’m a gentleman and I wouldn’t allow it to happen.”
However, the professional dancer looked a little sheepish when Saffron hit back: ”No you have, you have!”
AJ then admitted: “I’ve lowered you to floor once or twice…”
