Strictly 2019: 'I Wasn’t Jamie's replacement' Kelvin Fletcher sets the record straight

The presenter, who was a runner up in the 2010 series, added: “It’s a tough dance that!”

Kelvin agreed, saying: “It’s tough, it’s really really tough.

He then joked: “We [Kelvin and Jenson Button] were both saying about how we’ve had a beer at a wedding we’re like to think we’re quite good movers!”

The former Emmerdale star also spoke about being away from his family, after he shared a sweet video of him dancing with his young son Milo, prior to his high scoring Charleston performance in week three.

He admitted that: “Being away from your family is so hard, it really takes its toll.”

Kelvin remains the favourite to win the competition, but will he manage to score high with his Cha Cha Cha this weekend?

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One,
