South Park Streaming Rights Reach $500 Million in Bidding War – IGN News

Multiple companies are bidding for the rights to South Park, with THR reporting the price is now up to $500 million for the Comedy Central series.
Bloomberg originally reported on the auction, saying half a dozen companies have been bidding on the exclusive U.S streaming rights.

South Park is in its 23rd season, with Hulu – who is reportedly among the bidders – holding the current rights to the series for streaming.

China recently banned South Park in its country following the recent episode titled, “Band in China,” where the character Randy ends up imprisoned in a labor camp in China.
