Prince Harry, 35, and his wife Meghan Markle, 38, will become the focus of a new ITV documentary which details their 10-day tour of South Africa, narrated and presented by news Anchor Tom Bradby, 52. The special account of the Royals visit will air this Sunday and will see the Duke of Sussex open up about the death of Princess Diana when he was just a child. With the Prince showing his vulnerable side of late, the Loose Women panel aired their views of how the father-of-one is coping following the death of a parent.
A preview clip from the documentary sees the Prince open up about how he feels years after losing his mother and returning to a place she visited, walking the same path she did in the minefields of Angola.
“Being here now, twenty-two years later trying to finish what she started, yeah will be, will be incredibly emotional.
“But everything that I do reminds me of her. But, as I said, with the role, with the job and the sort of the pressures that come with that I get reminded of the bad stuff unfortunately,” the Prince said.
After watching the clip, panel show presenter Saira Khan, 49, said it’s still clear the Duke “carries the burden” of his mother’s death.

“When I look at Harry, and I think they’ll be some people going ‘Oh you’re royal, you’ve got money, just get over it’ – I just think you know, he lost his mum in such tragic circumstances,” the panellist began.
Detailing why the Prince still struggles with Diana’s loss, Saira continued: “First of all, in front of the whole world.
“He was only such a young child and I completely and utterly get why he has carried that burden and why it’s so difficult for him to get over it.
“I just think anybody who has lost a parent will be able to sympathise with him and give him that support.”
Earlier this week, the Duke attended the Well Child Awards where he demonstrated his vulnerability by becoming emotional whilst talking about the prospect of becoming a father.
Speaking at the event, the Prince told the audience: “Last year when my wife and I attended, we knew we were expecting our first child.
“No one else did at the time but we did and I remember…” he tried to continue, but was overcome with emotion as he fought back tears.
He continued: “And I remember squeezing Meghan’s hand so tight during the awards and both of us were thinking what it would be like to be parents one day.”
“And more so, what it would be like to do everything we could to protect and help our child should they be born with immediate challenges or become unwell over time,” the Duke continued.
The Prince concluded: “And now, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you pulls at my heart strings in a way I could have never understood until I had a child of my own.”
Referring to the moment in particular, Kaye said: “It was earlier this week he was at the Well Child event and he had a little crack.
“I wander if when you become a parent yourself it opens up a whole new set of feelings that maybe you had locked a way a bit and he is still struggling.
