Alan Halsall: Coronation Street’s Tyrone on Tisha Merry ‘She thinks I’m a bleeding toy!’

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, 37, took to social media last night to share a picture with his 156,000 Instagram followers.

The English actor, who has played the fictional character of Tyrone Dobbs in ITV soap opera since 1998, shared a post on his Instagram Stories, while undergoing a beauty treatment.

The TV star snapped a selfie in a bathroom mirror while wearing a face mask and then uploaded it to the site.

Alan, who is currently dating former Corrie star Tisha Merry, 26, after splitting up with his wife of nine years Lucy-Jo Hudson last year, captioned the picture: “I swear to God… she thinks I’m a bleeding toy!!!”

Alan then tagged his girlfriend’s account “@missdrewmerry93” into the picture, suggesting he was referring to her in the post.

On her own Instagram Stores, in view of her 70,900 followers, Tisha shared a picture of the pair – both in face masks.

She captioned the post: “…He complains but he bloody loves it!”

The social media snap follows a similar post, which Alan shared just last week.

While undergoing another beauty treatment, this time sporting under-eye patches, the actor commented on the new beauty regime he has adopted to stay looking youthful for his girlfriend, who is 10 years his junior.

He captioned the post: “The s**t ya have to do when your girlfriend’s 10 years younger than you!! @missdrewmerry93.”

Alan, who has reportedly been dating Tisha – the actress who played Steph Britton in the soap from 2013-2017 – since February, regularly shares pictures of the pair on his social media account.

The most recent snap, posted three days ago, saw the couple dressed to the nines and enjoying a date night at a restaurant.

He captioned the cosy snap: “Great Food And Great Company Are Two Of Life’s Simplest Yet Greatest Pleasures.”

The actress took to the comments section to add: “You look so handsome. love you xx”
