Gisele Bundchen Talks The Importance Of Your Thoughts For Happiness

Gisele isn’t just a supermodel, she’s also a mother of two and purveyor of deep spiritual truths and wisdom. On Tuesday, Gisele shared a beautiful photo of herself with her more than 15 million Instagram followers where she discussed the importance of our thoughts and the impact they have on our happiness.

She not only spoke about the power of our internal dialogue, but she reminded her followers not to let other people create the internal dialogue that fuels us. When we allow other people’s words to create the narrative we tell ourselves, we ultimately give them power over our lives.

Gisele wrote her message in both English and Portuguese. Her Instagram post went viral and in just a few hours had more than 400,000 likes.

Gisele shared the following caption with her post.

“Our happiness depends upon the quality of our thoughts. It is an inside job. Don’t assign anyone else that much power over your life.”✨🧘🏼‍♀️✨ Nossa felicidade depende da qualidade dos nossos pensamentos. É um trabalho interno. Não dê tanto poder ao outro sobre sua vida.”

Gisele and Tom Brady have put their Massachusetts mansion up for sale, but have been having a bit of difficulty finding a purchaser. They even lowered the price and are waiting for someone to scoop up the deal.

The couple has two children together: nine-year-old Benjamin and six-year-old Vivian. Gisele recently shared an adorable snap of both children as Benjamin measured his younger sister who is growing leaps and bounds. Gisele credits her children’s health with some of the natural and organic vegetables she grows on their property.

Gisele has always been an outspoken advocate about living a natural, healthy life and when the children were infants, she was an outspoken advocate for breastfeeding. In fact, she once felt so strongly about breastfeeding, she sparked controversy when Benjamin was young and she suggested there should be a breastfeeding law to ensure mothers breastfed for at least the first six months.
