Country singer Trace Adkins and Victoria Pratt are married thanks to some help from pal Blake Shelton. The Voice judge officiated the wedding.
Adkins revealed he is now a married man via Instagram on Sunday. The newlyweds tied the knot in front of family and friends in New Orleans.
“Join us in congratulating Trace & Victoria! They tied the knot yesterday in New Orleans,” read Adkins’s message, which included a photo of the happy couple and Shelton.

The bride and groom first went public with their romance over two years ago. Pratt is a 48-year-old Canadian actress. She is best known for her role on the syndicated sci-fi show Mutant X. Adkins and his new wife met while working on the 2014 film, The Virginian.
Shelton’s involvement in the wedding should come as no surprise to country music fans. The country singers are not only close friends, but they have collaborated several times over the years.
Adkins and Shelton recently hit up the red carpet at the Bennett’s War premiere with Pratt and Gwen Stefani last August. There is a playful dynamic between the two men that can be spotted any time they are together or speak about one another.
Trace Adkins has married his girlfriend of several years, Victoria Pratt. This is the fourth marriage for the ‘Honky Tonk Badonkadonk’ singer, who has five daughters. It is the second marriage for Pratt, who also works as a fitness model.
Shelton has yet to share anything about his duty as officiate on social media. However, considering his close friendship with Adkins, fans should expect a fun, witty post any day now.
