Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestant Alex Scott celebrated her birthday in style last night with her professional dance partner Neil Jones, 37.
The former footballer, who turns 35 today, took to social media during her birthday celebration to joke with her 298,000 Instagram followers: ”What do you do on your day off from dancing…?”
Answering her own question, she added: “Go dancing for your birthday.”
Following an emotional weekend on the BBC show, Alex and Neil headed to a salsa club in London to let their hair down and mark her special day.
In footage posted on her own Instagram Stories, the sports pundit could seen dancing up close and personal with her Strictly partner Neil.
Alex put on a leggy display in a black leather mini skirt and top, which she teamed with a pair of white ankle boots.
Her dance partner was also dressed in an all-black ensemble for the occasion.
The Strictly stars were joined at the Latin dancing club by fellow contestant Michelle Visage, 51.
The American TV personality, who is best known for appearing as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, was also spotted throwing shapes on the dance floor.
During the night, professional dancer Neil presented the ex-Arsenal star with a birthday cake filled with candles.
He posted a sweet birthday message on Instagram this morning, gushing: “You make me smile all the time because of the pure joy on your face.”
Alex and Neil found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard during Saturday night’s emotional live show.
Their Tango to performance Fleetwood Mac’s Go Your Own Way failed to impress the judges but the couple avoided elimination thanks to the support of the viewers at home.
DJ Dev Griffin and his partner Dianne Buswell were the third couple to leave the BBC ballroom dancing competition.
