Tristan Thompson has been trying hard for quite a while to get back together with his ex, Khloe Kardashian, ever since the two broke up.
And while Khloe has been playing hard to get and has given her former lover the silent treatment, for the most part, it looks like this might be about to end soon.
Recent reports indicate that True Thompson’s mom might have had a change of heart regarding her former partner, and is now apparently more open to the idea of dating him once again.
What made her change her mind, though? It may very well be Tristan’s dedicated attempts to win her back, from what the public can tell.
Tristan has made it clear that he has an active interest in being a parent together with Khloe, and has been pushing hard to show her that he is still very much interested in her.
And while some of his fans told him that he might be going too far with his attempts, it looks like Tristan knows his former partner better than anyone else.
A source told E! News: “Tristan has shown more of an interest. He seems to want more than co-parent with Khloé.”
The insider went on to explain: “He’s doing everything he can to prove himself and won’t take no for an answer. He’s saying nice things to Khloé and flattering her constantly. He knows he made a big mistake and lost the best thing that’s ever happened to him. He’s very persistent and isn’t backing down, no matter what Khloé says or does.”
The person in the know also revealed to PEOPLE: “It seems Khloé has moments when she is toying with the idea of getting back with Tristan. Nothing makes Khloé happier than seeing True spend time with both of her parents. Tristan has been trying to get back with her since the day he cheated, and she is still not buying it. She likes being on good terms and co-parenting. She doesn’t want to rock the boat right now.”
His strategy has been pushing him in the right direction apparently, and at this point, it will be interesting to see if he does manage to get back together with Khloe.
It will probably take a while before their relationship status changes on the public front, but their fans can probably endure the wait.
