Arsenal star Dani Ceballos undergoes scan after picking up injury on international duty

Arsenal’s on loan play-maker Dani Ceballos has been undergoing treatment for an overload and contracture of his hamstring, but a serious injury has been ruled out, Spanish newspaper AS claim.

The 23-year-old Real Madrid man has made a name for himself in north London after several solid performances since joining in the summer, and is set to feature for Spain against Norway on Saturday if his situation continues to improve.

The former Real Betis star has became a key part of the national team under Luis Enrique, and is set to continue in his role under new head coach Robert Moreno.

The swift recovery means that Ceballos is no longer a doubt for Arsenal’s clash against Sheffield United on October 21, but Mesut Ozil’s future is far less secure.
