All eyes will be on Google next week with the US technology firm set to release its new Pixel 4 smartphone.
This latest device will be unveiled at an event in New York on Tuesday, October 15, with rumours rife that it will feature some big upgrades including a new dual-lens camera, updated display and facial recognition which will unlock the phone just by looking at it.
These all seem like plausible features but a new leak maybe a little less likely – at least we hope it’s not true.
The team at Mobile Fun have released a set of renders which they claim show the Pixel 4 in a number of very fruity and rather gaudy colours.
The image shows Google’s device arriving in ‘Maybe Pink’, ‘Slightly Green’, ‘Sky Blue’ and ‘Really Yellow.’
If Google is about to launch these designs then we’re not sure how well they’ll be received as they simply don’t look hugely appealing.
Luckily, this latest rumour should be taken with a giant pinch of salt as most experts believe the Pixel 4 will come in three colours which will be far less vibrant.
It’s thought Google’s next flagship will be available in just a classic white and black with wanting some colour also being able to buy an orange version.
Reliable tipster, Evan Blass, has posted numerous pictures of the designs which certainly appear far more official than the ones posted by Mobile Fun.
We’ll find out full details about the Pixel 4 next week but it could be one to watch out for.
If Google can improve its already brilliant camera and continue to keep the pure Android experience this could be a very popular upgrade.
More power via the Snapdragon 855 processor and improved battery life could also help to boost its credentials.
If you are a Pixel fan then there’s not too long left to wait with the grand unveiling taking place on October 15.
