The host was discussing Elton’s new biography, set to become available this month, when he made the suggestion. Chris told listeners how he coincidentally just watched Rocketman, the biopic film about Elton’s life. The former BBC radio presenter said: “Isn’t it bizarre that I just watched Rocket man.
“I caught up and watched Rocket man and this biographies out this week.”
He went on to add how he interesting he found both the film and the book in relation to each other.
Chris said: “If you watch the film then you get the biography, theres some shocking headlines.
“Some shocking headlines about his mum from example, because it’s his biography.”

Chris went on to add hoe Elton was heavily involved in the writing of the book.
He said: “He’s been around a lot while its been written.”
The host added: “When you watch the film I remember hearing that he hadn’t talked to his mum for seven years.”
Chris went on to talk about a time when Elton’s mother hired an Elton John tribute band for her birthday because her son wouldn’t attend.
Chris said: “You think come one Elton lives to short but then you see what happened between them.”
The morning breakfast presenter went on to tell listeners how he wanted to get Elton on thesis show to discuss the topics.
Chris revealed how he actually lived very close to him so he might just turn up at his house.
He said: “He lives round the corner from me
“I might just knock on his door and ask him.”
Chris added: “I see David all the time dropping this kids off at school
“Shall I just ask David.”
