Brexit Party MEP names three EU nations seeking to overthrow 'sham democracy' in Brussels

The Brexit Party MEP for North West England claimed several other member states have shown signs they are “not happy” with the plans Eurocrats have for the future of the European Union. Speaking to Express.co.uk, Mr Bull suggested key members have cast doubt on plans to fund a “federal Euro state” through more integration of member states. The Brexit Party politician said: “It’s a sham of democracy that’s going on here.

Mr Bull renewed his commitment to maintaining a close relationship with EU neighbours and allies after Brexit, insisting Britain is not seeking to depart from Europe but rather from an increasingly-federalised EU.

He added: “There is collaboration, there is always discussion and I think it’s really important to make the point which is we still really like our European friends and allies.

“We like Europe, we just don’t like the fact that they are pushing – or this place is pushing – for a federal Euro state.

“There is a really big difference.”
