Breaking Bad movie: El Camino premiere sees Bryan Cranston and MORE attend – Walt is BACK?

This Friday, Breaking Bad is getting a follow-up in the form of a Netflix movie. El Camino follows Jesse Pinkman after his epic escape in the hit show’s final episode. So far the trailers have focused heavily on him with Badger, Skinny Pete and a couple of other minor characters showing up. But now El Camino has had its premiere which Bryan Cranston himself attended, sparking speculation among fans that Walter White is in the movie. Also attending the premiere were a host of other Breaking Bad actors.

Aside from Betsy Brandt who played Hank’s wife Marie, RJ Mitte who portrayed Walt Jr and Huell actor Lavell Crawford, the rest were all those who played dead characters.

They were: Jane, Hank, Mike, Gus, Todd and of course, Walter White.

While premiere photos showed no sign – as far as we could see – of Saul Goodman star Bob Odenkirk or Skyler actress Anna Gunn.

The real question with all these actors attending, however, is are they in it?

Considering that most of those at premiere saw their characters die in Breaking Bad suggests we’re in for some flashbacks.

Certainly, Mike actor Jonathan Banks has confirmed he’s in El Camino and his character is definitely dead.

While Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has confirmed that more than ten characters from the show will feature in El Camino.

Whatever the case, it’s clear that El Camino is Jesse’s movie.

No doubt, the meth cook will be dealing with his demons from Breaking Bad as he seeks redemption along his very own el camino (the way).

It does seem, however, very likely that Walter White is in El Camino, whether via flashback, vision or even a return from the dead having survived that final scene.

Cranston has repeatedly said he’d like to be in a Breaking Bad movie when asked and surely his attendance at the premiere is a key sign of this?
