Logan Paul issues UFC plea to Dana White ahead of Los Angeles boxing clash with KSI

Logan Paul has said that he wants to fight in the UFC after his rematch with KSI on November 9.

The two YouTube stars are set to do battle at Staples Center in a month’s time but Paul is already thinking about his fighting career post-KSI.

Their first fight finished a draw but was on amateur grounds but their rematch will be in the professional ranks – a condition which promoter Eddie Hearn laid out when he agreed to sell the fight.

And Paul has revealed that he wants combat sports career to continue once he’s through with KSI.

He told Express Sport: “I do, I do want to continue doing this after this fight.

“I unfortunately love this sport, I love the idea of beating up the other person who’s trying to beat me up.

“My next opponent can’t be from the YouTube world. I would have progressed too far, skill-wise even to fight any celebrity.

“Honestly, I would love a fight in the UFC. I would love Dana White to put me in the octagon.

“I’ve been able to practice so much. Perfect practice makes perfect.

“Any athletic sport I’ve ever done in my life there’s been a learning curve between six months and a year.

“And then I hit a period of growth about two or three months go.

“Now it’s like I’m sparring professional fighters and beating them. It’s a confidence thing, it’s an experience thing.

“Last time I relied on my athleticism and it kind of worked but this year I’m a boxer. I’m a professional fighter, I feel like that too.”

Paul has already previously admitted that he wants to fight Conor McGregor following news that the Irishman allegedly assaulted someone in a bar back in April.

“I swear to God. Yeah, I’ll fight Conor. He’s f***ing punching old men in the face,” he said.

“He did take it [the punch] though! He took the punch and then just drank his whiskey. Those Irishmen dude, those Irishmen. Wild.

“No offence to Eddie [Hearn], I’m an MMA fan. I want to do MMA after this. I wrestled in high school.”
