After the consecutive breakups Miley Cyrus went through, she was seen in the company of an old friend – Cody Simpson! However, it looks like they might be getting romantic now that they are both single and ready to mingle!
Earlier today, Miley and Cody were spotted at a grocery store in L.A., where they allegedly grabbed some sushi and drinks.
One eyewitness also mentioned that they shared a ‘quick kiss’ while looking around to choose their food.
It did not take much for the pair to notice that people were looking at them, however, so ‘they tried to rush out of there.’
At the time, the singer and actress was wearing a tank top, looking casual.
While the supposed kiss seems to change things, this is actually not even the first time they are caught spending time together in the last few days!
Social media posts from people who have seen them out and about seem to suggest they have been bonding over their love of various beverages and treats.
Their friendship goes way back! During an interview in 2015, Cody shared that he and Miley became friends because of their similar experiences while growing up in the public eye!
It makes sense that they would manage to bond over that!
‘Miley is one of my best friends and she helps with some of that transitional stuff—trying to escape your childhood. She is super open minded and I am working on becoming more like that,’ Cody dished at the time.

As for the alleged romance brewing between them, it’s pretty surprising since a previous source told E! News that ‘Miley was ready to call it off [with Kaitlynn Carter] because she wasn’t ready for a relationship. She needs to be by herself. Miley feels like she got in way over her head by moving on so quickly with Kaitlynn Carter after her split from Liam.’
