Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson Hug It Out On RHOC – Is Their Feud Really Over?

During the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson seemingly ended their feud that began last season and hugged it out during the cast trip to an Arizona spa. After accusations of cocaine use, pig emojis, sex trains, and a lot of nasty name-calling, have Dodd and Gunvlason really made up and put everything behind them?

The RHOC ladies have been at Miraval Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona, during the past few episodes, thanks to organizer Shannon Beador, but things haven’t played out like she hoped. Instead of a relaxing wellness trip, the getaway has featured numerous fights between just about everyone in the cast, and Dodd has been in the middle of all of it.

The feud between Gunvalson and Dodd escalated quickly during last season’s reunion, when Gunvalson accused Dodd of cocaine use, and it continued on social media during the show’s hiatus. By the time the cast started filming Season 14, they could barely be in the same room with one another, and Gunvalson is talking about Dodd being involved in a “sex train” with multiple men while Dodd is texting everyone pig emojis with audio clips of Gunvalson.

During the spa trip, Gunvalson claimed that Dodd had such a bad reputation that she was no longer allowed to visit her daughter at school, which led to Dodd calling the OG of the OC a “f***ing psychopath” and “f***ing pig b*tch” during a phone call to her ex-husband, Michael.

Later, Gunvalson remembered that she had heard that rumor about Dodd a year earlier when she was at the salon, and Tamra Judge told her that she can’t be repeating gossip like that.

“I want these two to get along, but neither one of them are taking the steps that they need to get to that point,” said Judge.

Things then took a surprising turn during a cast dinner that featured a lot of alcohol, when Dodd surprisingly told Gunvalson how much she had hurt her. That led to Gunvalson telling Dodd that they have a lot of history together and gave her a hug.

“I surrender, I surrender,” said Gunvalson.

In her confessional, Dodd said she wanted to stop her war with Gunvalson because she didn’t want to continue the ugliness.

“Vicki, I’ve never hurt you. I’ve always been on your side. It’s so disheartening for me to sit here and look at you. You don’t know what you’ve done to me,” said Dodd. “I called you a pig because [former cast member Slade Smiley] did and I know that hurts your feelings, but I don’t think that.”

Gunvalson said that hearing Dodd’s pain made her feel bad and it made her feel accountable for the cocaine rumor. Dodd then apologized to Gunvalson and told her she wanted their feud to end.

When Beador asked the ladies to promise that there would be no more low blows, Gunvalson said she was done.

“Well, this spa’s a success!” said Judge. “Hell has frozen over.”
