Jenni JWoww Farley Says She’s The ‘Proudest Mama’ After Revealing Her Autistic Son’s Amazing Progress

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni “JWoww” Farley revealed in November 2018 that her son Greyson has autism. And recently, she gave an update on her three-year-old’s progress with an emotional YouTube video and she says that watching Greyson’s journey has brought her to tears.

Farley shares Greyson with her ex Roger Mathews – who also appeared in the video – and she says that her son’s progress in the past year has filled her with “so much pride and joy.” The video began with clips of Greyson as a newborn and then Farley put together a montage that showed different milestones, like cutting his first tooth.

Greyson appears to be a happy, healthy baby, but by the age of three he was missing major milestones, like language development and potty training. Farley and Matthews decided to take their son to a specialist, and after working with We Care Autism and ABA Services for a little more than six months Greyson has started talking and potty training.

“I’m the proudest mama out there,” said the MTV star. “To not acknowledging your name or sitting still for literally 30 seconds to doing I can’t even explain it.”

Farley thanked her sons therapists and teachers for helping Greyson make such amazing progress, and noted that they “dedication and patience.” She also revealed that they recently got approved for 30 hours a week of ABA therapy – which includes social, communication, and learning skills – and Farley says that it’s been a “game changer.”

She also posted clips of Greyson’s journey that included him learning his ABCs, identifying animals, and counting to 18.

At the same time that Greyson has been going to therapy, Farley and Matthews have finalized their divorced. According to The Blast, the former couple accused each other of verbal and physical abuse, but they managed to cut down on the hostility for the sake of their children, Greyson, 3, and Meilani, 5.

JWoww is now dating 24-year-old wrestler Zack Clayton Carpinello, and she says that he gets along well with her kids. Last month, Carpinello made his Jersey Shore debut.
