Sunday Brunch: Tim Lovejoy forced to apologise after Tracy Ann Oberman slip-up

Sunday Brunch delved into some politics this morning as they welcomed Tracy Ann Oberman to the show. Promoting her new season of Friday Night Dinner and her brand new stage show, she discussed how she had been trolled online over the years. And while she opened up about how she had been victim to a barrage of hateful comments from men all over the internet, she accidentally let slip.

Whilst discussing the topic with hosts Time Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, Tracy was explaining the kind of abuse she received online.

She said: “I usually just got some tweets or the occasional d**k pic…”

Tim and Simon looked a little shocked at the announcement, and later on apologised for Tracy uttering the word.

After Tracy had finished speaking Tim said: “Can I just say, as a TV show, we have to apologise for the inappropriate word you said.”

Fortunately, Tracy managed to go through the rest of the show without any other slip-ups.

However last weekend saw Tim’s guests hit out at each other once again, as food critic Jay Rayner revealed he had reported on the chef of the day’s restaurant.

On the announcement Tim yelled: “Oh, the tension, the tension!”

Jay then spoke to Chef Jason directly saying: “I’ve reviewed very positively.
