Over the course of the evening, the show peaked with an unbelievable 8.9 million viewers.
Even this was an improvement over week one’s peak, which sat at 8.5 million in the evening.
The show’s main competitor – ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions – also saw a rise in viewers, however.
