Pete Davidson Skips The Big SNL Season Premiere – Here’s Why!

As fans know, the 45th season of Saturday Night Live just premiered yesterday but one of the most well-known and loved cast members, Pete Davidson, was not part of the show! Here’s why!

It turns out that the young comedian was working hard on another project at the time, which is why he could not show up on SNL.

Apparently, Pete was in Atlanta on the set of a comic book adaptation – The Suicide Squad.

He was also at a screening for Joker with several Suicide Squad co-stars, including Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney and Joel Kinnaman.

Director James Gunn took to social media to post a super fun pic from the screening, writing alongside it: ‘Some of #TheSuicideSquad (and Pom). Many of us are doing weird things in this photo. After a screening of Joker (thanks @wbpictures!).’

There is barely any information on the upcoming movie’s storyline.

However, what it is known is that, rather than a sequel, it is more of a relaunch of the original 2016 Suicide Squad that was not received with the greatest reviews.

Just like that, it is also unknown what role Davidson plays in this new project.

As for the movie’s expected release, it has been announced to be in a little less than two years – August 6, 2021.

In the meantime, Davidson has also been making headlines because of his personal life as well.

More precisely, it looks like he’s found love again, with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress Margaret Qualley.
