Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh, 28, took to Instagram this morning to share an adorable gender reveal video with her 1.5 million followers.
The former TOWIE star, who is expecting her first child with actor Ryan Thomas, 35, posted the short clip on her social media account while the couple enjoy a relaxing babymoon in Portugal.
Lucy wrote alongside the footage, which shows her emotional beau bursting into tears upon hearing the news: “We are having a…”
She continued: “His reaction! he couldn’t hold it in any longer!! @ryanthomas84 it’s mad I always new the gender as soon as I found out I was pregnant.”
Ryan, who is most well-known for playing Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street from 2000-2016, was overwhelmed to discover the couple are expecting a baby boy.
The actor is already the proud father of a 10-year-old daughter called Scarlett, who he shares with former Corrie star Tina O’Brien, 36.
While the gender reveal video was filmed a short while ago in London, Lucy and Ryan are actually soaking up the sun in the Algarve at the moment.
At around the same time the reality star posted her video, an excited Ryan shared a snap of the swimsuit-clad pair on his own Instagram account, in view of his 993,000 followers.
In the picture, the loved-up couple perch on the edge of a boat in a picturesque cove, with the mum-to-be proudly displaying her growing baby bump in a blue swimming costume.
He captioned the picture: “Blue is for…..?” alongside a baby emoji and four hands in the air signs.
Several of the former Big Brother star’s friends took to the comments section of the snap to share their congratulations.
Ryan’s former Corrie co-star Michelle Keegan, 32, wrote: “Awwwww amazing!! CONGRATULATIONS”, while former Emmerdale actor and current Strictly Come Dancing star Kelvin Fletcher, 35, simply posted lots of heart emojis.
