Evelyn Lozada Said She Was “Offended” After Being Called Black By A ‘Basketball Wives’ Star In New Video And Also Opened Up About Her Type When It Comes To Dating

Despite many of Evelyn Lozada’s fans claiming that she has a type — and that type seems to be active men in sports — she does not seem to be on board with these statements and has taken the time to refute them recently.

According to Lozada, people are reading too much into her past relationships, and she does not have any particular preference for athletes in her dating.

This came out in an interview in which she talked about her dating life and its many aspects. Lozada explained that her ideal man was someone who could provide stability, rather than a good-looking body.

She added that she liked the idea of going out to dinner and traveling and pointed out the importance of her partner accepting her children as well.

Lozada revealed that she did not want to have any more children at this point, and had specific preferences about her partner in this regard.

The reality TV star said: “It’s what I’ve always attracted. I’m not the girl that’s sitting outside the locker room like ‘Hey. I have been with three associations, but I’m not embarrassed by that. I’m attracted to what I’m attracted to. They’re attracted to what they’re attracted to.”

The Basketball Wives star went on to say: “You need to be able to have a job, maybe go to dinner, travel a little bit, accept my kids, love my kids how I love my kids. I want you to have kids because I don’t want to have any more kids. You have to have a swag about you too. I don’t want to be bored.”

Some have also been accusing her of potentially dating Rob Kardashian behind the scenes, but that does not seem to be the case either.

Lozada denied that anything was going on between herself and Kardashian, noting that the two have not even gone out on a date at any point.

She did confirm that she had known Kardashian for a long time though and explained that she wanted to wish him a happy Father’s Day more as a joke, rather than to imply anything about a relationship between them.

That did not seem to go over too well with some of her fans though, who are still not convinced.

In the same interview, Lozada opened up about a cast member calling her black, and she said she was offended.

She said someone told her: “It’s funny because, on this season, somebody was like, ‘B—h you think you Black!’ I’ve never had anybody tell me that. I was so offended because I didn’t know what that meant. I’m like, ‘I think I’m Black? I grew up in New York!’ I know where I come from. I’ve done DNA tests just to know. But I want to be able to tap into that more,” she said. “I’m proud to be Puerto Rican and from New York and Afro-Latina and all that good stuff.”

She added: “I consider myself Afro-Latina. I have backtracked my roots, so I know where I come from. I know I have a little bit of everything.”

At least, she seems to know who she is and what she wants.
