NCIS: New Orleans has been a big hit since it first began as a spin-off to the original show. The new series was released on Tuesday (September 24) as the team of naval special agents reunited once again. Starring Scott Bakula in the lead role, here’s everything you need to know about the new and returning cast of season six.
Who is in the cast of NCIS: New Orleans season 6?
Dwayne Cassius Pride – Scott Bakula
Scott Bakula returns as series lead Dwayne Cassius Pride in the brand new season of NCIS: New Orleans.
A long-time friend of Leroy Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) in the original NCIS, he is a New Orleans native and former Jefferson Parish deputy sheriff.
The character has gone through his fair share of trauma in the show so far and viewers meet him in season six as he attempts to recover from being kidnapped, held and drugged in the season five finale.
Bakula is no stranger to television dramas, playing the role of Mr Smith in Mr & Mrs Smith, Dr Sam Beckett in Quantum Leap and Lynn in Looking.
However, he is perhaps best known for playing Captain Jonathan Archer in Star Trek: Enterprise from 2001 until 2005.

Christopher LaSalle – Lucas Black
Lucas Black has played NCIS special agent Christopher LaSalle in the series since season one.
Born in Alabama before transferring to New Orleans, he joined Pride as the only other officer in the NCIS office.
Black is also known for playing Sean Boswell in Furious Seven and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
Loretta Wade – CCH Pounder
CCH Pounder returns as the Coroner of Jefferson Parish Dr Loretta Wade in the new season.
The former Harvard University graduate has become a firm part of the team, playing a vital role in catching criminals.
Pounder played Claudette Wyms in long-running series The Shield from 2002 until 2008, as well as playing Mo’at in Avatar and Tyne Patterson in Sons of Anarchy.

Tammy Gregorio – Vanessa Ferlito
Joining the NCIS team from the FBI in season four, Vanessa Ferlito took on the role of Tammy Gregorio.
Originally a lawyer by profession, she is a key part of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service on the team.
She was also the first LGBTQ+ character to appear in the NCIS franchise in a lead role.
Ferlito has also starred as Agent Catherine DeMarco in Graceland and Aiden Burn in CSI: New York.

Hannah Khoury – Necar Zadegan
Hannah Khoury is played by Necar Zadegan, who made her debut on the show last season.
She is a former NCIS Senior Field Agent who is promoted to Supervisory Special Agent when she transfers to the New Orleans office.
Heading into the latest season, Hannah finds her role put in danger after she is accused of misconduct.
Zadegan is also known for playing Dr Jordan Ko in ABC series The Good Doctor as well as Dalia Hassan in 24.

Patton Plame – Daryl Mitchell
The resident tech expert Patton Plame is played in the long-running series by Daryl Mitchell.
Mitchell is best known from playing Wendell in Fear the Walking Dead, as well as appearing in films like Galaxy Quest and 10 Things I Hate About You.
Sebastian Lund – Rob Kerkovich
Rob Kerkovich has played forensic scientist Sebastian Lund on Pride’s NCIS team since the first episode of season one.
Kerkovich is best known for his role on the show but also had a stint in crime procedural CSI: Miami as Cameron West as well.
NCIS: New Orleans airs on Tuesday evenings on CBS.
