Coronation street fans have seen Nick Tilley wind up in more and more trouble after tricking his brother David Platt (played by Jack P. Shepherd) into serving time for him. Now, fans have watched his life begin to unravel after Nick himself has been fooled by fake businessman Gary Windall (Mikey North).
Soap fans will know Gary managed to fool Nick into thinking he was a rich businessman who was ready to invest in the factory.
After Derek’s fling with his ex girlfriend Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) came to light, Gary managed to convince him to break up with her before continuing to use him as a cover for his plan.
However, this could get Nick in deep trouble as he is now deeply involved in the factory rebuild.
It seems he’s set to find out Gary’s secret after he seems to be increasingly suspicious of the false investor.
However Gary put his foot in it once again.
He went on: “Nah, you’re better off without him trust me, he’s a loser.”
Izzy concludes: “Stop saying I told you so and Buy the mother of your kid a drink!”
However, Nick looks incredibly suspicious in the background.
