Daniel Dubois will be hoping to add the Commonwealth title to his collection when he takes on Ghanaian Ebenezer Tetteh at the Royal Albert Hall tonight.
Dubois is two months removed from his win over Nathan Gorman in July, where he won the coveted British heavyweight title.
“Things are going good,” he told Express Sport.
“I’ve literally been training since I finished with the Gorman fight in order to get ready for this.
“I know he’s coming to take my head off on fight night.
“Obviously when my management think it’s time and believe it’s time for those guys [Joshua Fury, Wilder], I’m all set to go.
“[But] Frank had laid this path out for me. I’ve just got to walk it and deliver what people are expecting of me.”
Elsewhere on the card, two-time Olympic gold medalist Nicola Adams defends her WBO women’s flyweight title against Maria Salimas.
And Archie Sharp take on Declan Geraghty in a 10-rounder in the super-featherweight division.
