Meghan Markle stays cool in sheer dress as Archie has first-ever royal engagement

Meghan Markle has been in Cape Town this week as she takes part in her first royal tour since returning from maternity leave. She joined Prince Harry in Cape Town as they visited the South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The Duchess of Sussex wore a white dress which had a navy zig-zag pattern across it. She was spotted holding Archie Harrison, four months, during his first outing on the trip.

Archie Harrison arrived in South Africa with the royal couple on Monday but he has been staying at home while Meghan and Harry complete their royal duties.

Meghan showed she was a doting mother as she took Archie to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe at the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.

Choosing to stay cool in the heat, Meghan wore a sheer white dress which had a navy design across it.

The collarless garment had buttons down the front and a fitted top which continued into a pleated skirt.

Her skirt had a slit down the front and the Duchess preserved her modesty by wearing a black underskirt.

Meghan kept her legs bare and dressed up the look with a pair of navy, closed-toe, high heel shoes.

She was spotted laughing with Archie as he met with the Archbishop and his daughter.

The Duchess kept her hair off her face and pulled back into a tight low bun.

Opting for low-key make-up, Meghan looked natural with a nude lipgloss and coat of mascara.

She wore £482.46 stud turquoise earrings by Jennifer Meyer which she has previously worn during the tour.
