As fans know, Briana DeJesus and John Rodriguez were together for over a year but in the end, they did not manage to make it last. That being said, they put an end to their relationship last month.
But what exactly led to their split? The Teen Mom star shared some details about it during an interview for HollywoodLife and it turns out that there is much more to the story than the public was aware of.
‘You have to watch the season and the rest of the episodes to see what really goes down. But [the pregnancy claim] wasn’t the main reason why we broke up. It was just that I wasn’t happy anymore and long-distance got the best of us, and I have a lot going on in my life, and I had to pick and choose my battles, and that’s just what it is. But I do care for him. I love him and I wish him the very best. But right now, I don’t think we can be together,’ the reality TV star dished.
Even though she’s already been through three failed relationships only since joining Teen Mom, Briana assured the news outlet that she has not stopped believing in love.
In other words, she is still out there looking for the one ‘But not right now. You know, I want to focus on what I have going on at the very moment. And later down the road, if I meet somebody, I’m not going to be scared, I’m willing to give it my all. But right now, I don’t see that happening.’

Just before their breakup, Briana and John celebrated their one year anniversary with an amazing vacation in Punta Canta, Dominican Republic and they looked really happy in the pics they shared on social media.
