State of Play: What is the State of Play start time? How to live stream State of Play?

State of Play is returning today with a whole host of major PlayStation announcements set to be made by Sony.

The third State of Play broadcast will be shown today, which will reveal brand new PlayStation games and updates on existing titles.

Unlike with previous State of Play directs, PlayStation fans know of one title that will be making an appearance.

The highly anticipated Last of Us 2 is set to make its first appearance in over a year during the upcoming State of Play broadcast.

PlayStation fans are anticipating a new gameplay reveal and a release date announcement for Naughty Dog’s next title.

State of Play has a start time of 9pm UK time, and the broadcast is set to last for around 20 minutes.

For those in other regions State of Play has a start time of 8pm CEST, 4pm eastern time and 1pm pacific time.

In a blog post revealed last week Sony outlined what PlayStation fans will have in store with the next State of Play.

Sony said: “Excited to share first details on PlayStation’s next State of Play, which will air Tuesday, 24th September at 9pm BST / 10pm CEST.

“We’re preparing a pretty hefty show, weighing in at around 20 minutes and sporting a fresh new look.

“And we’ll have some great news to share with you, including new game reveals, new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, and a host of other updates.

“Should be fun!”

The PlayStation makers also confirmed that they won’t be discussing their PS5 plans in the upcoming State of Play.

They said: “Oh, and it probably bears mentioning: Don’t expect any updates related to our next-gen plans in this episode.”

The mention of “this episode” could indicate, however, that a future State of Play broadcast will reveal more about Sony’s PS5 plans.
