Strictly Come Dancing 2019 star Alex Scott, 34, and her professional dance partner Neil Jones, 37, hopped on a plane to Italy yesterday to attend The Best FIFA Football Awards 2019.
The former England footballer, who represented Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics, donned her glad rags for the glamorous award ceremony which took place in Milan.
Alex wowed in a monochrome jumpsuit and added a pop of colour to her ensemble with a colourful pair of shoes.
Her outfit consisted of an asymmetrical white top with a stylish cape covering one arm and black fitted trousers with tasseled detail down the side of the leg.
Alex enhanced her natural beauty with smokey eyeshadow and a slick of classic red lipstick and wore her hair in a sleek high ponytail.
Taking to Instagram, the former Arsenal right-back spoke about her newfound love of dancing and how it is taking over her life but acknowledged that football will remain her first love.
She told her 283,000 followers: “Dance has taken over my life and I LOVE it but football is and always will be in my [heart]”.
Alex and Neil, who was smartly dressed for the Milan event in a black suit with matching shirt and tie, posed for pictures together before American winger Megan Rapinoe, 34, was announced the winner of the women’s player award.
On Saturday night, the Strictly couple kicked off the first live show of the series with a energetic quickstep routine.
They found themselves in the middle of the leaderboard with an pleasing first score of 21 points.
Earlier this morning, Pro dancer Neil told his 36,200 Twitter followers that his flight home had been delayed.
He wrote: “Wow delayed flight. We need to get to the studio. Maybe we can just practice on the flight. What do u think @AlexScott ???”
No doubt the competitive pair will be back in the training room as soon as they touch down.
