Kevin Clifton is a long way from Strictly Come Dancing 2019 as he drops F-bomb on stage

Among the returning Strictly Come Dancing 2019 professional dancers is Kevin Clifton, 36, five time finalist and last year’s champion of the show, taking home the Glitterball Trophy with TV presenter and now-girlfriend, Stacey Dooley, 32.

As rehearsals are well underway, the celebrities and professionals are all over their social platforms, documenting the long hours spent in a dance hall rehearsing the hard-to-master steps.

And, away from the show, the celebrities and professionals can enjoy their personal lives and take on other commitments.

Uploading video footage to his Instagram account in view of his 335,000 followers, Kevin shared his singing performance alongside musician and Hamilton star Jon Robyns at London’s Leicester Square Theatre last night.

He announced nervously to the audience: “And now I’m about to sing in front of the entire f***ing cast of Hamilton.”

The embellished exclamation was met with lots of laughter and clapping from concert-goers.

Away from the bright lights of the high profile BBC show, fans commented after seeing a different side of Kevin.

In the past, BBC have been forced to apologise for outbursts from the judges and contestants have breached rules set out by TV Regulator, Ofcom.

But fans didn’t seem to notice the profanity and continued to applaud and watch him perform.

Social media users also jumped to praise the multi-talented performer: “Just watched the video of you from last night and omg you’ve got talent for days… your voice is absolutely incredible!!”(sic)

One fan asked: “Is there anything you can’t do?”

Another wrote: “Amazing!! Super talented, would love it if you could sing on Strictly.”

Others added: “Smashed it!”

Kevin also posted good luck wishes for his partner, Anneka on his Instagram ahead of their performance on Saturday, where they danced the Cha Cha Cha.

The judges awarded them 14 points for their routine, made of up two threes and two fours.

Kevin assured Anneka that it was a good start, telling her: “We don’t want to be really good on week one with nowhere to go.”

Kevin’s former partner and current girlfriend, Stacey Dooley also wished the pair the best of luck on Instagram, with the caption: “Go get ‘em reigning champ. Good luck to the class of 2019.”

The pair reportedly started dating shortly after season 16 of Strictly ended and after Stacey had split from her long-term boyfriend in March.

Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse stole the show, dancing the Samba to La Vida Es Un Carnaval by Celia Cruz and scored 32, with each judge making them an eight.

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
