AJ Pritchard, 24, and Saffron Barker, 19, opened up on their partnership in a clip aired on tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing – It Takes Two. However, things were in danger of going south between them when social media star Saffron mocked AJ’s vlogging skills. “AJ is gonna teach me to dance so, in return, I’m going to teach him to vlog,” she told the camera. “I’ve actually seen you’ve done a bit of vlogging, I watched it last year,” she continued, adding: “But sometimes you do drag it out a little bit.”
As Strictly favourite AJ looked stunned by the swipe, his face falling, Saffron giggled: “But some people might be really interested.
“So, you do you,” she added, scorning his vlogging abilities.
“Were they? Were you?” he interjected humorously.
“No,” she exclaimed, causing AJ to burst out laughing, clearly taking the insult lightheartedly.
Last year, the professional dancer began sharing backstage glimpses at Strictly and his life away from the show on his YouTube vlog.
Elsewhere, AJ and Saffron made their dance floor debut together on Saturday night when they performed their first routine of the series: the Tango.
The duo managed to impress the judging panel, scoring a brilliant 27 points and coming fifth on the leaderboard.
