Strictly Come Dancing 2019: 'Absolutely not!' Saffron and AJ's Tango leaves fans fuming

Strictly Come Dancing hadn’t been on for long before fans were in uproar, disagreeing with judges scoring. YouTuber Saffron Barker has been partnered with AJ Pritchard and tonight, they performed a Tango to Lips Are Moving by Meghan Trainor. Wearing in a dramatic red dress, Saffron was fierce with her execution which scored her big with the experts.

Joining Tess Daly to listen to the judges feedback, AJ and Saffron were elated.

Motsi Mabuse was first to comment and she said: “Girl, you have fire! I loved that! I absolutely loved that, i enjoyed every second, you were in there, you were alive, you gave it all. That was the best dance I’ve seen so far.”

Shirley Ballas added: “Well I appreciate we could actually see your foot moving and your body going over it, it was staccato.

“Great choreography,” the head judge said to AJ. “I mean really quite difficult, but you kept in with the time.

“Little bit more work on the frame and core but that will come.”

But some loved it, with one tweet reading: “People still bitter over Saffron. Why can’t you just accept that it looks like she’s pretty decent and could be a contender? #Strictly.”

#Strictly is back and I had no idea smh but Saffron’s tango was ACE my goodness loving that promenade,” another commented.

A third wrote: “Wow! Saffron and AJ were the best of the night so far! So much energy! #Strictly.”

As for who’s time on the show could be short-lived, bookmakers have revealed the least popular celebrity who risk elimination next Sunday evening.

According to Ladbrokes, David James is going to be the first to leave the show.

Jessica O’Reilly, a spokesperson for the betting agency said: “Unfortunately for David punters reckon his time on the show will be over before it’s really begun.

“And fellow former athlete James could be out of the door shortly afterwards as well.”

Professional rower James Cracknell who is partnered with Luba Mushtuk sits joint last at 50/1 on winning the series.

Strictly Come Dancing is currently airing on BBC One.
