Gizelle Bryant has had a few male suitors on the Real Housewives of Potomac but recently shocked fans when she announced that she was back with her ex-husband, Pastor Jamal Bryant. The Bravolebrity is opening up about her decision and sharing her opinion on what popular exes should do the same.
Gizelle and Jamal were married with three kids when she found out that he had been unfaithful. 12 years after their separation, she has decided to give him another chance.
In an interview with The Grio, Gizelle explained why she feels that it was a good choice to put her family back together.
‘If you can do that successfully with somebody, and there is love there, then I think that should always be the priority and for us, that’s our family. We have three kids, and if the family can get back together, then hey, the Obamas can’t be the only ones [repping Black love!]’
She revealed that people have been extremely supportive of her decision. She often gets followers who tell her that they’ve been praying for their relationship.
Meanwhile, she wants Shaunie O’Neal to do the same with her ex-husband Shaq.
The publication asked about the comment she made to the Basketball Wives star that read ‘Just waiting on you.’
Bryant said: ‘What’s so funny about that is…I don’t even know when it started, but Shaunie and I had been DM’ing each other about our exes for a very long time. It’s always been like, ‘Well, I’ll go back when you go back.’ We would see something on social media with Shaquille with some woman and I’m like, ‘Yeah, but she ain’t you though! Go ‘head and knock her off.’ Then she might hit me with something and I’m like, ‘I ain’t never going back!”
The RHOP personality feels that this is the perfect time for Shaunie to go back.
