Meghan Markle Style: Duchess looks chic in black as she arrives at Misha Nonoo’s wedding

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry arrived in black tie for Misha Nonoo’s wedding to oil tycoon Mikey Hess in Rome today. The Duchess of Sussex, 38, could be seen looking super glam as she and Harry made their way to the luxury venue. Meghan opted for a gorgeous sheer-topped evening gown for the American-based fashion designer’s big day. She wore her dark locks in an elegant bun, and paired the black ensemble with a pair of gold earrings. The Duchess kept her makeup to a minimum, wearing bronzed cheeks, dark eye make-up and a nude lip.

As the royals departed their vehicle, a chorus of cheers erupted.

Harry looked equally dapper in a black suit as he escorted his wife into the venue.

Other guests, including Harry’s cousin Princess Beatrice, 31, was also spotted looking glamorous as she made her way to the event.

The royal sported a diamond headband decorated with gold and pearl flowers.

Among the A-list attendees were Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka trump and her husband Jared Kushner, Karlie Kloss and her husband, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the Italian capital on Thursday to attend the nuptials of her designer friend, who is rumoured to have set-up the royals’ first blind date in July 2016.

Ms Nonoo and Mr Hess will walk down the aisle as the sun goes down at Villa Aurelia, a baroque villa and vineyard once owned Pope Paolo III that sits on one of Rome’s seven hills and enjoys extraordinary panoramic views of the city.

Misha is a 31-year-old American-based fashion designer, who has a fashion line under her own name.

In Harry and Meghan’s first joint interview on November 27, 2017, Meghan and Harry revealed they were set up by a female mutual friend.

Although they didn’t name names, Misha seems to be the likely suspect.

She and Meghan are pals, and the former Suits actress even wore Misha Nonoo’s Easy 8 Husband Shirt, which costs £139, during her first public appearance with Harry – at the Invictus Games.

This is the same shirt Meghan is said to have taken inspiration from for her high street collection, which she released last week.

Meghan created a clothing line in her latest charity project. Proceeds from the capsule collection go towards Smart Works, a charity that helps women into work.

It has since been revealed that Meghan drew on Prince Harry for inspiration for the clothes.

Meghan and Harry’s first official royal appearance together took place at the Invictus Games Toronto in 2017.

On the third day of the event, Meghan wore the white shirt from Misha Nonoo’s brand, and her current collection has a very similar shirt.

Fashion PR expert Dominique St. John told Express.co.uk: “We saw her sport a similar white shirt from Misha Nonoo on her first official appearance with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto.”

Dominique said: “We also saw her look effortlessly chic in a familiar trouser suit combination when she stepped out to the Endeavour Awards in London.”
