Lucifer season 5: Will Ella and Amenadiel get together?

Aimee Garcia joined the cast of Lucifer season two in 2017. Her character is loved by fans, including American singer and songwriter Kelly Clarkson who recently made two videos begging Netflix to un-cancel the show. Sadly, Lucifer season five will be the final series which means there is only one more chance for Ella Lopez (played by Aimee Garcia) and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) to get together.

Will Ella and Amenadiel get together?

Ella is the Los Angeles Police Department’s forensic scientist, working with Chloe Decker (Lauren German).

She has a close relationship with Amenadiel after he asked her to examine the grave where Lucifer buried Uriel (Michael Imperioli)

When Ella first met Amenadiel, Lucifer’s older brother, she was stunned by his presence and they form quite a flirtatious relationship.

However, Amenadiel is the father to Charlie, a son he shares with Linda (Rachael Harris)

As Linda Martin is human, this meant they decided to raise their child on Earth instead of Silver City.

Lucifer fans have been hoping for a full-fledged romance between Ella and Amenadiel, and they might just get what they are asking for in the fifth and final season.

D.B Woodside who plays Amenadiel took to Twitter to speak about the upcoming season, teasing there will be more Ella and Amenadiel scenes.

A fan asked: “Any chance we will get more scenes of Ella and Amenadiel? Not nearly enough of those two! #askdb.”

Woodside responded: “Argh!! Aimee and I are trying!!! @Aimee_Garcia”

Lucifer fans have taken to Twitter to express their support for Ella and Amenadiel getting together.

One fan wrote: “I ship Ella and Amenadiel now, just FYI. Do we ship them as EllaDiel or Amella? #Lucifer.”

A fan added: “You have no idea how much I want to see Amenadiel and Ella interact this season

Sadly, it may take a miracle for Ella and Amenadiel to get together, as he is currently stuck in an awkward love triangle with Linda and Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt).

Interestingly, Maze and Eve (Inbar Lavi) seemed to have a moment in season four as well which could leave things open for Amenadiel with one less love interest to deal with.

However, as Lucifer has returned to Hell, Chloe is likely to recruit her best friend Ella to go with her to retrieve him.

They will need the help of Amenadiel to do this, so Ella and he could become close to each other.

Whether their relationship takes a romantic turn or not, Lucifer fans will just have to wait.
