Jamie Redknapp: Louise Redknapp’s ex in embarrassing Harry Redknapp blunder

Jamie Redknapp, 46, was joined by host Romesh Ranganathan, 44, on the Sky One programme where the football pundit was quizzed on the best advice he has received from his dad, Harry Redknapp, 72. The A League Of Their Own host, who was stepping in for regular presenter, James Corden, probed the football pundit: “Jamie, what’s the best advice Harry has ever given you?” Jamie seemingly appeared to muse on the question, before he answered: “He’s always given me great advice. “Probably about a year ago, he [Harry] said if someone elbows you…oh I’ve said it wrong.”

The former football professional appeared to get the phrase wrong, as he quciky covered his mouth.

The studio audience and panel could not contain their amusement, as Jamie’s remark was met with raucous laughter.

Romesh chuckled: “You got that wrong.”

To which, Jamie replied: “It sounded better in my head.”

The former Liverpool player is a regular on the quiz show, alongside his co-star Freddie Flintoff, 41.

Meanwhile, his dad and I’m A Celebrity….Get Me Out Of Here! winner Harry, recently joined Chris Evans on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show where the pair chatted about horse racing.

The King Of The Jungle undoubtedly left his companions gobsmacked as he said his wife Sandra is unaware that he is the owner of ten stallions.

The footballer manager let slip the news live on-air that his wife believed him to be the owner of just one horse.

Speaking to Chris, he said: “Well, I keep buying horses.

“I’ve got a couple of slow ones and a couple of fast horses.”

The host quizzed further: “So you have a couple of horses?”

To which Harry replied: “I’ve got ten. Sandra only thinks I’ve got one. I hope she’s not listening.

“Because last week, there was one [of my horses] running. And I said, ‘Sandra, my horse is running’.”

But it seemingly appeared he may have been caught out as Sandra questioned him about the name of the stallion.

Quoting his spouse, Harry said: “I didn’t think it was called that.

“I went, ‘No, I’ve changed the name of it.’ I didn’t tell her about the other nine.”

A League Of Their own airs tonight on Sky One at 9pm.
