To make sure the situation around Emani Asghedom — the bright daughter of Nipsey Hussle — does not take a toll on her, she is getting counseling, according to a recent report via TMZ.
Nipsey’s young daughter saw the specialist to help her get through this challenging period in her life.
However, according to reports, the counseling is mainly meant to address her grief and not the legal battle between Tanisha Foster, also known as Chyna Hussle, the mother of the girl, and the family of the late rapper and activist.
Foster’s attorney wrote the following in the legal documents: “I am pleased to report that my client and her daughter have each had private grief counseling sessions. The two are making excellent progress and are both benefiting by the grief counseling,”
The legal case is still ongoing, and a trial date has been officially set — October 15, 2019.
It is not clear at all what direction the case might swing in, as both sides seem quite profoundly entrenched in their dispute at the moment.
Reports indicate that the 10-year-old girl is holding up well, but many of Nipsey’s fans have taken to social media to say they hope the matter is resolved fast because the child might be starting to suffer from the overall impact of the situation, according to some claims.
This is not a light ordeal in any case, and anyone going through a situation like that would probably be distraught, especially at such a young age.
