Louise Redknapp: Jamie Redknapp’s ex reflects on 'blast from the past’ discovery

Louise Redknapp, 44, took to Twitter and gushed over a photo which was reminiscent of her time touring the UK in her earlier years. The snap shared by an unknown fan was an image of an L-shaped key ring which seemingly appeared to resonate with the singer. In view of her 134,000 followers, she retweeted the picture and wrote: “Now that’s a blast from the past! The L jewellery… might have to dig it out for tour!” The social media user replied to the post, saying: “I love it. The key ring from the changing faces tour.”

The gold key ring memorabilia was from the former Eternal bandmates music tour in 2001.

During this time, Louise had released a compilation album called Changing Faces – The Best of Louise.

In support of the album, the singer had embarked on a second solo tour of her career, playing smaller locations across the country.

Meanwhile, the Breaking Back Together singer, recently shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram account which reflected on heartache.

The mother-of-two shared the cryptic post via her Instagram stories with her 652,000 followers.

The post read: “Some of the kindest souls I know have lived in a world that was not so kind to them.

“Some of the best human beings I know have been through so much at the hands of others, and they still love deeply, they still care. Sometimes, it’s the people who have been hurt the most who refuse to be hardened in this world, because they would never want to make another person feel the way they have felt.

“If that isn’t something to be in awe of, I don’t know what is.”

Louise has been open about her divorce with her former husband Jamie Redknapp, 46.

The couple decided to go their separate ways after 19 years of marriage – with their divorce being finalised in 2017.

Appearing on The Sara Cox Show, the host asked Louise: “And you’re in a good place, you’re happy? You’re good?”

Louise acknowledged it’s been a “tough couple of years”.

The singer admitted: “I’m not gonna lie I think everyone knows I’ve had a tough couple of years but like all of us, that’s what happens and we fight forward and move on.”

Elsewhere, Louise recently announced she will be back playing Violet Newstead in 9 to 5 The Musical.

Sharing a snap with her two sons, Charley, 15 and Beau, 10, she captioned the post: “Back to work, had the best summer with the loves of my life @9to5themusicaluk Violet Newstead I’m back.”

Louise took on the role earlier this year, before taking a break.

The show is now going on tour across the UK and Ireland and Louise is reprising the character.
