Louise Minchin, 51, took to Twitter and shared a photo with Dan Walker, 42, who appeared completely oblivious to the snap being taken. The BBC Breakfast star could be seen smiling directly into the shot, as her co-star turned his back to the photo. He seemingly appeared distracted by what was going on in the studio behind him. In view of her 164,000 followers, she said: “Good morning, this could be one of our best pictures yet! @mrdanwalker @BBCBreakfast.”
Taking to the micro-blogging site, the small-screen star retweeted a video of Sarah Thomas who had swam the English Channel four times.
She wrote: “Imagine this, over 50 hours swimming non-stop across the Channel four times, Sarah Thomas is incredible, congratulations!”
Fans commented on the post, with many praising the swimmer.

Sarah – who is an open water ultra marathon swimmer – spoke about the trials and tribulations of completing the challenge.
Speaking on the programme, she said: “[The worst bit] was probably dealing with the salt water over four days, or two days, it really hurts your throat, your mouth and your tongue.
Sarah was due to swim 80 miles but due to the strong currents she ended up swimming 130 miles.
She said: “I knew what to expect from the currents, the weather and the cold, so I was very prepared for the amount that I was going to be in the water.”
